That would track with the Account Server being down, which also prevents log-in.

If this is scheduled, there was zero warning about it coming, and why couldn't it have been done during the server down time anyway?

I logged off 3-4 hours ago, when I started having issues loading instances (was getting logged out, and getting the option to log the last character in at a "safe location"). Now, I'm having the same log in problem everyone else is seeing.

I'd surmise that, between the update and the traffic, something unraveled at their end. Nothing for it but to hang tight and see what's what, I'm thinking.

yeah, but it's 2 hours *before* the update. And there was no mention of it. So, if this was scheduled, it was extremely poor scheduling.

perhaps they should do the maintenance now. Looks like the servers need it. We are all just sittin around anyway
