So, now you can apparently use the QSD in normal space, and it causes very wierd things to happen. Is this a bug?

I imagine weird things would happen anyway, since you're bending time and space itself to create the tunnel you go through. (thinking of TMP here)

It doesn't even appear to do anything, either. I haven't noticed any speed increase when using QSD in normal space :/

It is the same speed as full impulse, and It is a bug, but I hope they keep it in the game.

Really? I guess it is kind of effective if your evasive maneuvers are recharging and you need a quick boost while still in combat...Still, this is the QSD we're talking about. You would normally blast out of the sector in an instant but it looks weird!
