Am i correct in assuming that if i wanted to buy the sao paulo class escort and use it for my VA Tac officer it will cost 2800 crypyic points? 1600 for the Escort Refit and 1200 for the sao paulo class unlock? If anyone could confirm that would be great!!

Nope bud it will just be the 1200. They are two separate ships.

The San Paulo is a Captain ranked Escort +1 ship. If you buy it, it gets you the Captain ranked ship and the costume option for a normal Captain escort and the VA level one.

If you want the VA level one, you have to buy that separately. If you want the VA level one with the San Paulo costume, yes you have to buy both.

Well that kinda sucks, would have loved to have the VA Level retrofit with the sao paulo class costume, but i dont feel ready to part with that many c-points just yet!!

Correct, But then if you flying it at Vice admiral you like would fly it at Captain as well.

Of course you could also subscribe till you get the 600 day vet reward then you get a free Vice Admiral ship token.

I see that there are quite distinct differences between the tier 4 and tier 5 versions of the defiant such as 5000 hull points, an extra weapon slot plus the additional Ens Tac Boff Slot. These are things i would like to have, probably over the top of a nice costume and quad cannons (unless anybody knows different and thinks they are worth it??) so i think i may have to convert the 300k dilithium i have to c-store points and get my Fed Klingon Tac VA the defiant refit?? Opinions??

ps hit the 400day vet reward and decided that it prob wasnt economical to sub anymore, just subsidise by purchasing c-store points i guess.
