I hear this like every half hour while working in the foundry. Is this a bug, or just an annoying form of spam?

Should be happening for Silver (F2P) players. If it's happening for Gold (sub'd) players, time for a bug report.

But why does it happen when I'm working in the foundry? Is it because voice chat is turning itself on in the foundry? I doesn't happen when I play test maps. It's happens while building in the foundry.

If you're silver with voice on yes it'll happen.

WHY it's happening while editing though... that's an interesting thing...

Unless you're using it, disable the voice chat in your options. The voices will go away, I swear.

I think I get what you asking. Your wondering if the map/game is actually working in the background of the foundry toolset and if so why not be aloud to edit in 3d on the live map. Hmm wonder what cryptic is doing on the back end that could be causing this. Also KF, your not on vent with any silver account holders when it happens?

I've never used the voice chat, gotta take a look and shut it off, if it is possible.

Frpm what I can tell, the foundry editor is just a maximized overlay on top of the regular UI. If you pay attention you can also catch the mail notifier noise when you get new items as well. what this could mean is theoretically, they could allow the chat ui in the editor.....also it could mean access to the bug report button too...
