I always noticed a few black patches since I started playing a few weeks ago. Now with my new ship, there are large black patches on my ship, so it's no longer a problem i can ignore.

When i set the Lighting Quality field to High, it gives me black spaces with missing and/or mismapped textures. My PC can run everything else just fine, I really don't think it's an issue of lack of performance on my end.

This is happening to me as well. I had to set my lighting quality to Low so that ships would look right. I tried in both directX 9 and DirectX11.

I saw the same thing except only with DX11 mode. I have temporarily gone back to DX9 mode since it seems DX11 support needs some more work.

if you use AA and AF, set both to 4x and then switch to DX9

Black Patches on DS9's Hall to the Exchange and Bank, looks to be fixed.

I have the same problem. It started small but has been getting worse over the past week.
This is how it looks now : http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/52...4877427700E71/

I tried changing the AA, the AF, and the DX mode in any combination but the problem remains.
For now I can continue on low lighting quality, but it look uuuuugly.
