I just downloaded the new patch, and it seems i cant get past the very first loading screen. ( CRYPTIC )
It gets about 75% of the way through and the cursor changes from the spinning loading circle to the plain pointer cursor. I restarted my computer and tried again to no avail. I dont know what the problem is but I would like some help here if possible.

You are not the only one with this problem, it looks like the patch server is having problems or possibly something else completely.

Either way people are unable to patch their game, hopefully this is acknowledged by cryptic at some point.

I downloaded the patch and the game lets me engage but it stops at cryptic. Hope they fix the problem fast.

This could be related to a damaged/bad file usually located in the prefetch folder under Cryptic. I don't remember EXACTLY where it's located in there, but if you ditch the files in there that'll force a new download of hopefully viable files that aren't corrupted and allow you in.

I'm having the same problem. I sure wish that they find a way to fix this soon. I only get about a quarter of the way loading up at the Cryptic page before the circle loading cursor shows up.

Has anyone tried what I'm suggesting? It's been working for a few folks so far, and it's worth a shot.
