I've got over 20 on one toon and a few on others. I have bought two 10 packs of keys so far and only used 5. The other 15 made me 22 million EC, which is in Z's fleet bank. That brings the total for her 2 person fleet upto... 50 million EC. [=

I'm not a fan of this whold box/key thing but it is here to stay. I'm not one of these foolish folk that drop $900 on a chance to get a ship and walk away mad because they didn't get one. However, I would like to spend more of my money on ships, uniforms, comm badges ship interiors I can customize, fleet starbases, and other things I think the game needs. We also need more content for players to play. Today was a great example of how many players returned that have been gone for quite a while and even brought in enough new players also. If you give them a reason to stay, they'll spend their money. They may not drop $90 on silly boxes but they will stay, enjoy the game, and buy up the items and such they want.

This FE has already disappointed me in some ways iwth its first episode. The voice acting was horrific! There were a few good voices (Admiral that dies, Vorta, and the Gorn) but the joke of an Irish woman that didn't die soon enough was worse than finger nails scratching a chalkboard. The mission felt a bit uncharacteristic of the Federation. In times of war, pressing people to take sides isn't unheard of. The music and hte way the episode ended felt like I was watching a daytime soap opera. I can't stand those! The cutscenes were also way too long in all cases but one. The cutscene after the discussion in the Briefing Room was just right. It's nice to actually see action through a window at times.

I am very happy to see my favorite faction back as a player in the STO storyline. The DOff's being used to help for hte one optional was a very well implemented idea and hte highlight of the whole episode. This needs to happen on more missions and within ships. If I don't want to go back to ESD to repair something I don't have the components to instantly repair it with. How about going to Engineering and assigning DOff's to an few hour shift to repair that Hull Fracture or damaged system? The length of the mission and the variety it has was decent. A little more instruction and clarity so there is less confusion with some of the objectives would be appreciated.

There were a lot of bugged missions today! Z had to repeat the missing 3 times to finallyget it to complete. Droping and resarting the msision didn't do squat. Literally beaming out and reentering the mission to ensure hte objectives correctly show as finished is annoying and frustrating! The servers were very laggy at times and the authentication server was busted for a short time. The enemies on the Promenade were also majorly bugged. hey would keep respawning behind and you'd have squads (like 15) of cloaked Jem'Hadar come up behind you and cut you down in half a second. This is not fun! Cryptic really needs to start looking to the community for a small team of content testing because it's clear, the current team just isn't enough.

I did another run through this morning with my Sci, solo, to see what accolades I could get. There is a lot of running around to do to get them but it's not so bad once you know where to go. The Captain you help with youe DOff's will take the excess Stem Bolts from the bar patron (closest table to the door in Quark's). Make sure you have 2k in Latinum on you also, if you're not high up on the Diplo XP. Not sure how to guarantee to get the Bajoran to give up the Kanar as this only happened for me once. However, you can visit hte4 Exchange while in the mission and aquire one on there and still get that optional. 23k EC is what it cost me at the time.

Cutscene wise, I think the voice over makes it more annoying than anything. The one cutscene i like as a bit of filler that isn't needed. After the old Admiral dies, it should end there. A simple dialog telling you, get hte ambassadors out would of been much more appreciated. After repeatedly being forced to watch this, I have a slight difference of opinions on the voices. The voice for the Fed Captain has grown on me. The annoying Irish woman just gets more annoying with every single time I have to listen to her. A little less dramatization on the Vorta's voice would of made her role that much better. I hope we get to see a lot more from this characterrr, with voice overs. The same goes for the Gorn. I'd like to see this guy more often, with voice overs. These these voice actors (guessing) hopefully will be used more in the future.

One thi8ng I would have liked to have seen is, more of an effort to take over DS9. It all just seemed to happen too fast. I would have liked to have seen this dragged on more. A whole mission dedicated to sneaking and battling your way out of DS9 through multiple decks and areas with an optional for you to detour to OPS and order the evacuation of DS9 before heading to the Promenade. With all of the old ore precessing facilities and other areas of the station we have yet to see. I would have liked more. Having to go to the central engineering part of the station to bring some internal defenses online after them going offline in the initial attack would have been nice.

Although my comments may seem a little on the negative side. It's feedback. The good doesn't really need to be mentioned as much as where I think they went wrong or could have done better. I can't emphasize more that using hte DOff's to help repair the Captain's ship was one of the best elements of the whole mission.

I was thinking about something similar earlier. Maybe FRAPS'ing a cutscene and redoing the voice overs with 10ites going the lines. I know Z can scream better than the dying irish character! It's a lot of work and a lot of time with stuff I'm not really familiar with but the idea sounds fun. Just thinking out loud. [=

I wish I could remember who it was that did the one episode using the game and added their own voice overs. I think there's a thread on our boards that I'll have to take a look for later.

We have so many threads on our boards, I'm not even sure what to look for. I wish I could remember what it was called. That would at least make it easier to find.

Happy Monday morning to my buddy! Nothing like a late start to start the week off right. [= Have an awesome day!
