Under orders from Lt. Gen. Hauk (my adoptive father), I have assumed command of the U.S.S. Star Empire, NX-233100-A --- a Shukensha-class assault cruiser.
She is a ship that comes with a rather interesting origin story in that she was among several ships under construction within a Terran Empire shipyard established within our reality.
In fact, I was part of the Federation / KDF joint task force that helped "liberate" this ... enemy ... fleetyard.
Truthfully, I personally led the assault force that boarded and liberated the Star Empire -- one of several ships in the final stages of completion within the yard since pressed into service within the 1st Brigade Joint Forces Combat Team of the 1st Cavalry Division / 'avwI' voDIeH.
So far, her systems check out with a new MACO shield array having already been installed.

My crew and I just solved the mystory of why so many ex-Dominion warships are being spit out through the Bajoran wormhole near Deep Space Nine ... including the chance to speak with the wormhole aliens that dwell there-in.
I will not go into many details as much of the operation has been classified, but I *will* say that we had to interact and work with an undercover agent with Klingon Intelligence.
If her role had not been vital to the operation, she would have faced the steel coldness of my blade.
