Tonight I purchased the 1500 C-Point bundle to get enough to grab the Advanced Escort Refit but I ran into some very serious issues. I tried to purchase the points in-game and everything appeared to go fine, but I was never given the C-Points. I have tried logging out and back in, and the points do not even show on my account from the STO site. I never received a confirmation email for this purchase as well.

I have verified that the funds were debited from my account, but at this point I'm at a loss. It appears at this point that Cryptic has just taken my money and ran with it! I can't even find a phone number to call for help and the "Beta Live Chat Support" is offline! I've opened a ticket but have not gotten a response so far.

I'll wait the rest of the night and check tomorrow morning before work, but I suspect my only course of action would be to initiate a chargeback on these funds since I was never given the product which I purchased. If anyone has a suggestion as to how I can actually contact Cryptic regarding this matter please let me know.

First do you have a Cryptic or a PWE account? Make sure you contact the right support department for your account.

It took me ~5 days to get a response from the account/billing department recently on my Cryptic account.

Second, think twice before initiating a charge back. First, there may have been a problem with the transaction. In this case, it is very possible that is an authorization charge. Wait 3 days. If it does not fall off your account, or goes from 'pending' to 'posted', you can decide whether to do a chargeback or not. If it does fall off your account (the funds are returned), it was just an authorization charge.

A chargeback is bad for many reasons. The biggest reason not to do a chargeback is that Cryptic is then likely to ban your account and/or charge you for the chargeback fee and initial charge.

Handle this through Cryptic, wait, and be patient.

When I got points, I had to go into my PWE wallet and "convert" them to c-points on the holodeck server for STO. THEN (and only then) did they show up. It was under the "my wallet" or some such menu choice under the PWE account settings screen.
