Can this 3 piece set bonus please get a looking at? As it is now its on a 3 minute cooldown and fully specced with 100 aux power it does a measly 2.2k kinetic damage. Thats less than a single photon torpedo.
I feel given its source and the potential destructive power it should have had it needs this damage figure multiplying by at least 5. After all its a 3 piece set bonus! Those are supposed to be good!
I also question the value of the 2 piece bonus on the Elite Force space set. +10 to warp core training is, maybe, 1 to each power level. And the proc from the shield? Ok its up all the time but again, 1 power to each subsystem isnt worth a thing, especially compared to the other shield's turn boost. I think this should stack to 5.
I agree the HGB does seem to be on the low side damage wise. Although I've noticed the damage does go up with tac buffs and i think my best hit with it was a 20k crit but its only happened once that I'm aware of.
I'm also not sure on the passive skills that are used, I understand it fires from the deflector so having deflectors as a passive seems to make sense, but when fighting the Borg science skills like hazard emitters and polerize hull are more useful than sci team and tss. Shield heals are great and all but that shield drain power makes them almost useless with out a way to remove it. I'm talking here from the view of a escort pilot btw with limited sci boff slots, I'm not sure how this power would work in a sci ship.
The two part bonus made me stop and think too but I think that +1 to each subsystem would negate any subsytem targeting abilities as you can never hit zero, severley reduced power levels are possible but the +1 stops the system from going offline altogether. I've not tested this though so cant be certain. And I dont think i've ever seen a Borg ship use subsystem targeting so why would this ability be on a set designed to combat the Borg.
