My Multi-Vector is my baby. I treat her right, I wash her once a week, and I upgrade her regularly. I take mighty fine care of her, and in return, she rips through anything I point at. In Khitomer Space, Normal, I can solo one side, by myself in about 13 minutes. That includes running back to kill the errant probes, and the spheres.

In PvP, despite using my PvE setup (my [Borg] weapons), I have yet to lose a single match 1v1. I lose on teams all the time, but I have not yet lost a single match 1v1.

It's true, once you engage Multi-Vector mode, that you lose some hull and shields, but your maneuverability goes up dramatically, and I can outfly a Defiant that way. Very much my favorite Escort in the game. The Fleet Escort is a close second, but only because of it's engineering side.

Only if youre doing the stf with a PUG from hell, even when im dpsing i heal whos taking dmg, inst so hard,i mean if you really want to kill borgs you need at least 1 rank of haz emmiters to clean your ship from plasma proc and the shield drain.
And the MVA is a hell of ship,i use a very straighfoward build based on weapons/shield/hull,nothing more nothing less.Works on my cruiser and works for my MVA,with a simple science team and transfer shield strengh+brace for impact i can tank Donatra`s ship and with a bit more of effort a Tac cube on elite stfs.
But in the end is collective game,so you will need some help to stay fighting full time.
My best advice is get the borg deflector, engines the console and use a Maco shield.
Will do miracles.
Equip some Shield distribution dutty officers(i use 2) and stay alert to incomming torps, the rest is almost faceroll.

aggro has little use on a PuG group when they destroy 1 of 4 station transformer healers well before they should and cause a very large problem from the group that only a sci can fix correctly by pulling the nanite spheres and probes out of position long enough to destroy the transformer or for that matter, not looking where the PuGs are going. aggro is useful when the tank commands the group and getting them to follow his/her lead in order to make things far easier, especially with two escorts on the side causing chaos and destruction by focusing fire while the tank takes the damage.

as far as the MVAM ship is concerned, the prometheus class? i like that ship, very pointy looking and can seperate and i have seen sections of my ships take aggro before in an STF in the past, albiet with no success other then a moving target. as for escorts in general, you need a reasonably good setup to deliver large amounts of DPS effectively and dont forget your own buffs to draw out its resistances considerably like fire on my mark, attack pattern alpha and tactical team. Escort ships are not designed for survivability, but firepower alone so they can survive to fight another day.

I run elite STF's with full agro points and I do not die that often, but my fleet I run STF's with is very good. Just look up some really good tips and you need to worry a little bit about max and mins, also you need to know exactly when to use powers and what consoles to use also what abilites are good for your play style and weapon set up's.
