I kept the stealth consoles. Nothing says "How's it going, Govnah?" like waking up a warbird's rear with a salvo of photon torpedoes, trailed by a tricobalt torpedo and let in by a single tachyon beam. A nice volley of polaron cannons and beams and I can see that they aren't as tough as I originally thought. Changing up the energy types was probably the best idea since I could exploit the speed of one and the power of another. The photon torpedoes worked off what was left of its shields post tachyon and the tricobalt ruined its complexion. Rinse. Repeat.
After two days of aggravation I finally finished that mission.
