So, I get to the decision where I need to choose whether or not to let Ferek the Ferrengi go or open fire on her ship, with the Jem'Hadar nearby. I decide to open up guns on her. Dialog box goes away, but objective is still "Speak to Farek - Decide her fate" -- I cannot open fire on her ship, nor can I do anything else. Currently stuck.



UPDATE: I aborted/warped out, and then clicked continue mission. It took me back to that final scene and I was able to destroy her ship.

Just an FYI, in case this happens to anyone else.

Did you actually speak to Farek or just blow her up?

The 2nd time, I approached her ship and she was already a valid enemy target, so I blew her up. So it obviously saved my dialogue decision from before I aborted/warped out. Not sure what happened but I was afraid to abort because I wasn't sure if I had to go through all that nonsense with the satellites again.

But to answer your question, yes I did speak with her. She tried to plead for her life, and I think I just clicked through all that and when that dialogue went away, I could not target her. So, like I said, I aborted and came back in and immediately destroyed her ship.

As an aside, when you go to hail the Jem'Hadar after destroying (or not) the Ferangi ship, It's Misspelt as Jem'Haddar. Just a heads up

Sorry for being a necrophiliac on this post, but unlike the opener I was thrown right into the beginning of the entire thing. Had to go through the collecting samples nonsense all over again :-(
