# 1 SNB numbers?

Can somebody give me the numbers for SNB? I.e how much does it extend cooldowns by? The sticky says what it does, but it doesn't give any numbers on it.

It affects weapons as well right? So if you hit somebody with it and they don't use Science Team they basically cannot fire any weapons?

Also - it lingers for 30 seconds right? So any abilities they use during those 30s will get the debuff?

It will strip any active buffs from the targeted ship. This effect applies only once upon "impact". After that players can use every available skill (not on cooldown) again, and can also shoot. The 30 second debuff only affects (decreases -113% for 30 sec iirc) the recharge speed of abilities on cooldown.

OK, so in PvE the best use would be to watch when the enemy fires most of their weapons and then activate it so they all get stuck in the extended cooldown? Even then, does it have a big impact in PvE if it only affects active cooldowns when the beam hits? So a 4s cooldown on their weapons becomes 10ish seconds.

I haven't seen a lot of PvE ships using buffs or other abilities much. Do they use them a lot at higher levels?

I strip off high yields and beam overloads. Npcs just don't use a lot of buffs. Feedback pulse would be another good one to get rid of.

So what I'm getting from this is that SNB is more of a PvP power than a PvE power. Is that right?

no matter how long you increase their cooldown by the snb itself only lasts 30 seconds so their cooldown only increases by 30 seconds unless they get a sci team.

Yeah, mostly PVP. But there are PVE situations where it comes in handy.
- Mogai escorts. Can be used to strip them of attack pattern alpha
- Tactical cubes. When they prepare to fire torpedo spread. It can stop it from firing.
- Dreadnought in Khitomer Accord Space. Can be used to negate her emergency power to shields 3. Makes the battle a lot faster.
- Cardassian ships that use feedback pulse. Removes that annoying power.

I'm sure there are others that I haven't thought of.

SNB is indeed only a small benefit in regular PvE. Only a few NPC ships will use abilities worth to strip at all. Most noticeable usage in PvE would indeed be the emergency power ability of the Scimitar in KA or the Terran Empire Dreadnought in the Mirror Event.

The firing cycle of weapons is not affected. Only the cooldown on abilities.
