There are quite a few nagging issues with the model of this ship in STO, the neck for one is off and makes it look far too chunky. For such an iconic ship, does it annoy you Galaxy fans out there? Is there no chance someone could make a pass over it and just up the model quality slightly? Thoughts?

There are similar issues with many of the ships in the game, some of them equally iconic (intrepid class and the galaxy-x are other examples).

It has been stated that there is very little to no chance that errors like this will be fixed. Instead they have decided to put their efforts into new (and more profitable) ships.

Oh well. I was just watching a preview video for the NanoFX engine used in Star Trek Excalibur and the Galaxy model in that is absolutely beautiful. It's my favourite ship in Star Trek next to the Connie, never been a huge Sovereign fan so it's somewhat disappointing to see it modelled incorrectly in STO.

Thanks anyway .
