# 1 Ground PvP Content Suggestion

I some footage from the new Tribes: Ascend game, which inspired a thought on what could be a very fun PvP format:

Okay... So here's what you do:

Make the gravity low, like it is on Hobus.

Make the ground slick, like it was during the winter event.

Force participating players into shooter mode.

Force sprint on, all the time.

I would play the HECK out of that as ground PvP. For it to work, it needs to rely on manual aim. RPG mode would make it too easy. Playing against NPCs would make it too hard since they won't miss based on maneuvering difficulties.

Imagine this as a battleground where people are animated using Spock's rocket boots.

High leaps, skids, manual aim. It'd be a long requested feature if only used on this map and would be a lot of fun.

well i posted a thread a month ago in pvp section about tweeking ground but all i got was 'lol ground'

any way i would love some mutli level, multi goal pvp maps ala quake or tribs

and bring two BOFF's along

im not too crazy about forcing shooter mode on us but its interesting to think on

At least with this one concept, the other mechanics would be moot if you allow RPG mode.

I PvE in RPG mode. I PvP in RPG mode. It's just more efficient.

But for a gimmick fight based on difficult maneuvering/aim, you need to force shooter mode for that encounter anyway.
