# 1 Prisoner Exchange (fed)
03-17-2012, 12:15 PM
Hi,
the prisoner exchange assignment for feds seems pretty unfair in comparison to the klingon one. It has the crit traits logical/peaceful and the fail/disaster traits aggressive/unruly. The fail traits are nasty since most prisoners have them but the crit trait are really unfair since klingon prisoners seem to never have logical and/or peaceful, is it possible to change it to something other? Maybe seductive/honorable.

regards,
Mr. J

Prisoner assignments are inferior for the Federation compared with the KDF by design; Refugee assignments are inferior for the KDF compared to the Federation.

If the prisoner exchange for FED is inferior to the one for KDF then i think its strange that the KDF version needs 2 days to complete (FED needs 4 hours), which makes the KDF one not really better than the FED version.

It's not intended to be a one-to-one mapping; there are relatively Prisoner assignments on the Federation side, and relatively few Refugee assignments on the KDF side. The weighting isn't on a single assignment, but on the entire selection of assignments. That being said, we can certainly look into specific assignments which appear out of balance within the context described above.

But it wouldn't make ANY sense for those to be critical success traits! If a prisoner is logical, he will see that there's no way he's going to take on your whole crew and escape. If he's peaceful he isn't going to start bashing heads in and attempt to escape.

Alternatively, if they are aggressive or unruly, they'll probably try to resist. If they're seductive they'll try to sweet talk until they find themselves free. If they have Klingon honor they're going to die in battle and not allow themselves to be taken captive.

I'm glad to hear that! It really only makes sense this way.
