I guess I don't really understand what is happening with the "Heap Data" or what that is, but I understand that if you can't fix it, find somebody who can.

Does this mean that Cryptic can't fix it since it happened again and these Sunday Crashes are something that we have to learn to deal with?

Is Plan B to bring a 3rd party that knows how to deal with these problems to get it right?

There is nothing wrong with a daily maintenance window. I also play EVE online and the hole EVE universe runs on a single shard. Every day there is a 30 min downtime window when the shard is re-initialized and eventual patches are applied.

Since it is scheduled and every one knows it is going to happen, there is no stress about it.

Are these crashes related to the decompressing errors that quite a few folks are getting?

And on the same note, while it is understandable to expend a lot of resources on a major issue like there there is a growing population of players that can't even play for more than a couple minutes without having to re-download upwards of 5gb of data. We have gone months with this issue and the last message we got was back in January
