I'm looking for this as well. It's up for testing on Tribble, but I'm not on Tribble so I have no idea what it's capable of.

This is just off the top of my head, so I may have a few things wrong here, I'll come back and edit this when I have time.

The D'Kyr-class ship is a Science Vessel, first and foremost, with all that goes with it.
3/3 Weapon configuration
Same bridge officer and console slots as the DSSV.
300 crew
Same turn rate as the Nebula-class (might be increased before it goes live)
Special ability is to deploy a support drone (the thing at the back of the main hull, in the center of the warp ring). The launch effect is similar to the Exploration Cruiser Refit launch, in that it stops your ship dead to launch the drone, and if you go to full impulse the drone is automatically recalled (CaptainGeko says he's looking into fixing this, but no promises, it's apparently a technical obstacle that's hard to overcome). The drone will automatically follow you in combat and attempt to heal you, or if you target a friendly when you launch it, it will follow that friendly and heal him/her instead. It has both shield and hull heals, and in self-defense it has a single automated plasma turret. While the drone is deployed, you lose 10 auxiliary power and I believe 50 crew. The drone cannot be retargeted once launched, so if the extra healing is no longer needed, you have to recall the drone and wait out the cooldown (180 seconds currently, I think) before it can be used again.

You've got to be kidding me...
Turn rate of a Nebula? I expected at least all the traits of a DSSV plus the drone thing. Looks like I won't be buying it.

So you want to make the DSSV obsolete? That wont happen...

That said, there is talk that the turn rate will get boosted, so it might be alright. So long as they fix the issues with the support craft, it should be a good ship

I just wished they gave it a uniqueness, some kind of unique sci ability...the support ship is like having a shuttle pet that will get popped with a BoPs first pass. Other than being pretty and having a cool hull animation, I don't see a reason to spend the money...you won't see it being a powerful pvp ship like the Intrepid refit. I should get on tribble to test it out, I guess.

your all forgetting the fact that even though the humans were a keystone in founding the federation due to finding common ground with long time enemies like the andorians and the vulcans
but the current president in the game is a saurian
the cheif admiral you report to seems to be a trill
the majority of your bridge officers and crew are all different kinds of races (though i have yet to find a dinobulan whom i can name flox) and their are multiple important ships in the game named after alien figures (the science vessel U.S.S. Flox for example)

but the reason the majority of the ships you see seem to be of human design (nx-01) is becarse starfleet is a earth (and therefore human) force. like the united states navy. the vulcans still have their own navy and that navy has a large diversity of purly logical ships. the andorians, aenor. all of them have their own respective navy's but its human nature for us to stick our noses into everyone elses business.
the federation is really like the united nations here on earth in present day. everyone whose part of the federation still have their ships but some wanted to come here to be part of starfleet like how immigrants are. as more aliens wanted to be part of earths little intervention force. the rule for dual citizenship was allowed and even more came.

if you look at some of the newer ships you will see that their are other speicies influence on the design but starfleet is still a earth foundation. just like her majesty's navy doesnt look the same as the japanese navy.

i mean compare the rhode island class (which adheres to the saucer style) and then look at the escorts and science vessels of that same class and you cant tell me those are nx-01 styled ships. earth had alot of cultural influences when starfleet itself became multicultural.

but in the end starfleet is earths navy not anyone elses. the tv shows were about starfleet, not anyone else. and you play as starfleet, not anyone else. the difference between starfleet and the KDF ships is that the klingon empire made fairly recent alliances with the races you see in its fleet, thats why the ships in there fleets are so distinct from each other

even then just because now they are putting in vulcan ship is because the vulcans are very against influencing peoples cultures, except when it comes to being emotional. i mean look at the newest series with the nx-01 and you will see how reluctant the vulcans are to share tech with us, for all we know for the vulcans to allow starfleet to commision D'Kyr's into starfleet usage probably took the entire romulan and dominion war put together,
