First time poster here, so please forgive if this is in the wrong forum.
After today's patch, a friend of mine noticed he lost a lot of damage mitigation. He checked the description for Engineering Team II and it no longer mentioned anything about damage resistance/mitigation.
Was this intended in the latest patch? Or are we mis-remembering what Engineering Team did?
Damage mitigation comes from the 'Aux to Structural Integrity' and 'Aux to Dampening' skills, if I'm not mistaken. As the post above mentions, I haven't seen Engineering Team add mitigation in forever, if ever.
Engineering team has not given damage resistance since season 1.2 patch that made a big change to a lot of things (science team also lost its shield resistance in that patch). So basically if you want mitigation you need to get it elsewhere. Hazard emitters and aux to SIF are the only powers that give hull resistance.
