"Login failed for unknown reason" error
Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
since shopstuff is cheap these days and dilithium easy to get I thought about buying some nice new stuff for my hangar bays. The carrier is mainly set up to bring down shields fast and the rest is done by the To'Duj, I heard the Kar'Fi S'Kul Fighters do more dps but what about the Orion Interceptors (I think they won't come close to the To'Duj mainly fighting against hull because of the cannon only but I never tried it). Other stuff that looks interesting are the boarding shuttles, anyone can give his opinion(s) on these 3, please?
Right now the To'Duj are broken when fighting against the Borg, the same may hold true with all fighters but I have not had the chance to test my S'Kul fighters out in an STF lately.
The S'Kul fighters are a ton of fun and do really decent damage mainly because of two things:
They generally open up with a small salvo of (chroniton?) torpedos that seemingly do very little damage and a large barrage of cannon fire. Once they close with the enemy the circle and swoop allowing for more (chroniton?) torps and cannon fire. Then they eventually kamikaze the target dealing large amounts of damage.
The recharge of the fighters makes up for the fighter's kamikaze runs and allow for a nice constant stream of little flaming fireballs.
I've never had the orion fighters, but I hear they don't do as much damage as the To'Duj and the S'Kul.
Sounds good so far, I think I buy the Kar'Fi then...1600 points just for the fighters because this ship looks so damn ugly...that's a lot. At least I get 20% off now.
Any more opinions especially on the boarding shuttles...anyone...?

The reason is the birds of prey. Currently they are borked because of an idiotic attack run pattern but I predict it will be changed back to the old one (which worked perfectly). Most of their major glitches have been fixed as well.
Rather than waste your money in another carrier you should buy ship consoles that enhance the VoQuv:
Those three consoles give the VoQuv crazy utility and damage.
The Isometric charge does brutal damage to hull in AOE but the shields have to be down. The VoQuv, if armed with 3 dual tetryon cannons (damage+shield killer proc)+3 disruptor turrets (for -10% resist proc) and omega force tetryon glider firing with cannon volley 2 and 3 will strip the facing shields of any ship in no time..then you dump the isometric charge and let your fighters finish them off.
Plasmonic leech increases your ship power levels by +15 as long as you're shooting at something. Very useful.
Barrier shield is the ultimate emergency defense. Plus in PVP its always funny to watch zippy escort splat against it like bugs on a windshield.
