I'm here because PVP and STO is fun and if something isn't fun, why should you do it?

heh, and i thought i was an optimist.

Baddies are gonna use op stuff. Hell i have 4 DBB's in my inventory if i need them - and u better believe i have a boff stacked with just the right skills to make full use of them. If i'm way outnumbered with no backup in sight, i've got no problem with using a op skill if the game designers see fit to leave it in for months on end - doesn't mean they should be left that way though.

Last week i was having a lovely chat with a klink using the invincible fighters (are they still invincible btw? i havent logged on in a while) And he was enlightening us as to his reasoning for using them in the war zone.

Basically it was along the lines of 'i got pwned and laughed at by feds using M.A.C.O shields. so why should i switch ships now'

I made a post some time ago concerning the cycle of bug fixes to newly introduced items with bugs.

I suggested to cryptic that instead of leaving X item in for weeks while u find a fix, why not just pull the item/disable it/keep it from being used/ until the fix is in, instead of having the playerbase suffer.

Never got a reply to that post.

needless to say my jade cake's icing is rather thick thanks to that.

But i digress.

as far as the items/skills/and such and using them:
Some of it falls on the players. but being unscrupulous isn't going to go out of style anytime soon, so cryptic should do it's level best to prevent these types from having their way with the rest of us.

Will they though? do better i mean.

It's anybody's guess.
