Hi

Yesterday i bought my dreadnought, i am engineering... before i had an Odyssey (gift for event) in this i had 6 beam array, 1 torp fore and 1 mine launcher aft (all mk xi + full borg set)

Well, anyone can help me in a good weapons for dreadnougth or is good i use my odyssey weapons?

Hi, well I may not be a dread flyer, but my partner is and he drums this stuff into my head all the time.
Ofcourse, you should use Phaser type so you boost lance damage as well, my partner uses Beam banks of the fore and arrays on rear, with a tricobalt torp on fore and another torp on aft (I forgot which type) He does pretty decent damage in PvP/PvE (his set is full borg XIIs at the moment)

I bought the dreadnought too yesterday

here's what I use for the weapon slots

Fore: 2 phaser array Mk XII purple, 1 dual heavy phaser cannon Mk XI purple, 1 Quantum torpedo Mk X purple(don't have anything better yet)

Aft: 3 phaser array Mk XII purple, 1 Quantum torpedo Mk X blue.


Plus I keep the cloak.

I use the dual heavy cannon because I do not want that pointy antenna to be just cosmetics :p

I have an engineering captain with my Galaxy-X. Here is my current set-up. I chose consoles to increase my weapons damage and shielding. I've been using this ship through the Cardassian, Borg, Breen and Undine missions as well as STF Normal with great success. I can take on battleships 1-on-1 with no problem as well as a single Borg sphere and a regular Borg cube.
