the point being that they should be as per Canon.
Not scaled to our rank or scaled past it.
The Borg should Always be as powerful as they are ment to be not scaled.
And no Bird of Prey should be capable of taking the full fire of three galaxy class ships for 10 solid minutes.
If you have trouble with elite, don't play elite. It's that simple, no one is forcing you to play the STFs on elite. In fact I recommend that until you know how to fight borg, DO NOT GO ELITE!!! Too many noobs go into Infected Space Elite on their first run, don't listen to instructions, and ruin it for everyone else in the group. Don't be that guy.

But how much fun is it to be instapopped all the time by a Tactical Cube? If we went with canon then whole fleets of ships would be needed to take a single Cube out and it'd be a long and painful fight,made long only by the amount of time it takes for the Borg to beat you (because they will, they did in the shows and you won't have plot armour like the Enterprise or Voyager did). Is that fun? It doesn't sound it to me, if I have no prospect of victory, however remote, then it's just wasted time and not much fun.
It's difficult but not impossible. I've play well over 1000 STF vs Borg. First off, you have to have the right team balance of ship types with mostly Escorts, a sci and cruiser. When you que up in Pug match you get mostly weak players who havent acheived all damage accolades. Lack of understanding the mechanics off how these AI will always perform. I now and then que up with pugs to see how they are doing. But when I need a solid team to back me and hold ther own I will only and only pick prople from the EliteSTF chat channel. There's been some non-performers pop'n our chat channel wrtting-in their "x" to join our private matches. We spot them rather quickly and place them on ignore list. EliteSTF Chat channel is just that. A place where Pro go to team up. It's not there for a player to learn how to or ride on the backs of Pros.
If this angers/offends you..... well it is what it is. You're not a Pro.
As politely as possible, that was a very condescending, elitist response. Worse yet, you didn't offer one word of helpful advice, you just attacked the OP. He's obviously a n00b crying out for help. OK, yes, he was ranting, and there are better ways to ask for help, but have a heart.
I dare say you were a n00b once as well, or are you going to tell us you were born "a Pro" ?
