I'm a fan of the Hamlet ones. Funny thing is, I've had a Hamlet Foundry mission on the backburner forever. If I do it now, I'll tailor it to the DOs.

How do we know those are the Ultra Rares? Ultra Rares usually have unique powers, there powers are just normal ones... they have Rule of Acquisition quotes, but can we confirm these are actually the Ultra Rares?

Those DOffs are not what are considered ultra-rare, they're just handcrafted very rare. Ultra rare actually have different powers than the normal DOffs of that specialization.

Usually, yes. But the thing about these ones that make me suspicious if they are bound when you get them, and none of the other DOffs are. So it's very possible these are Ultra Rare, just with normal powers (ultra rare is regarding rarity, not abilities).

I was just wanting confirmation from a dev, maybe Heretic...

You don't need him to post here, he's already defined what ultra-rare means - http://forums.startrekonline.com/sho...01#post4150301

Ultra-Rare - Handcrafted, non-unique Purple quality (or sometimes, more rarely, other qualities) with non-standard active roster powers. Their power levels are the same as a normal Purple, but they are much rarer due to their non-standard active roster powers and handcrafted nature.
The doffs linked in the first post are handcrafted, not ultra-rare.

So, is it confirmed that these are the ultra-rares? Are there any others?

Why are these bound on pickup if they are the URs? None of the others are.

The Hamlet photonics are technically not ultra-rares since they only have the conventional active roster powers. Ultra-rares by definition have non-standard active roster powers.
