Do Shipboard update erase ALL mission, listed under personal, after the time is up?

The list is regenerated from scratch without reference to the previous list. Some assignments that were available before might be available again, while others change. The current pool of Personal assignments seems relatively small, especially in the Science, Engineering, and Military categories, so you probably will see a somewhat high percentage of them repeating often.
