I have seen the cube get closer to the spawn, but not on top of the spawn point.

How about if this happens, you're allowed to just leave the event without the 1 hour penalty. Just afterwards you have to go to sickbay to have the "Borg Cube Suppository" debuff removed.

I think the timer is absolutely a stupid Ideal, all the way around. I see too many people, inexperienced and even experienced get insta-killed, or get one shotted, or take out the entire team with one shot. on KA, Than 90% quits and your stuck with a one hour cool down, that you had no choice to do because there is no one one or two ships are going to put a dent in her shields.

Its also just a stupid ideal, did I say that yet? until they fix most of the combat, fix the glitches with the inviso-torpedos this is just getting on the ******** side now..

Y'all realize that the reason for the respawn timers is to help players get to know one another and share their "love" of the timer and coordinate their next timer chat session :p

The timer doesn't just penalize the person doing the "Leeroy Jenkins" maneuver. It also penalizes his teammates, who might be relying on that escort's firepower to take down the gate before the optional runs out, but oops! That cube is close enough to the spawn point that you have to go through the Gamma Quadrant to get to the objective without aggroing. Oh well, out for 90 seconds. Time for a bio break. Sorry guys.

The Death Penalty Timer was designed for one purpose and that was to get players to be little bit more careful with their ships and/or their toons. Well that idea has completely failed.

My statement was in reference to ground STFs should have been a little more descriptive on my statement. "Post your worst STF experiance ." Ever since this new Death Penalty Timer was put in place I have not and will not do the space STFs. They were boring as ell before the DPT change and know they are boring and completely unappealing due to the DPT.

I won`t play The Ground STF missions because of The Death Timer! I like playing The Space ones because I`m better at Those!
