I have just recently found out about an item known as the Ophidian Cane. The person that showed me what it is did not know quite where they got it, does anyone know where this item comes from? They said it came from one of the devidian episodes but my brother and I both did all of them and got no such items. It looked really cool and I hope that it was not a one shot deal.

it was a reward for the devidian set of missions, but is no longer available. the reason you didnt get it was because they stopped awarding it when season 3 came out. they say it'll be on the c store at some point in the future though.

Any idea how far in the future?

There have also been noises about "Rerun Weekends" that would reopen the special rewards for limited times. And no, nothing solid about those either.

Well thats good to know, since I have two characters that did not make it before Season 3 launch.

well, I'm glad I read this post before submitting a bug report LoL.
The cane is, was, a reward drop for killing the devidian captain during the final mission of the storyline when you beam down and clear out the station before destroying the comet.
I only have one character that received the cane and just completed the final chapter tonight playing another character, but the captain never spawned, so I thought it was bugged.
