Solutions require problems to exist beforehand.
To clarify some, as it's buried in my posts somewhat:

The "problem" is that all TNG fans, in "end-game", have a viable ship/uniform combination that is 100% "canon" for the show. TMP fans also have a 100% viable Tier 5 Excelsior to go with their Kahn uniforms. However, TOS and ENT have no tier 5 "canon" ship that fits their uniforms. Yeah, we do have Tier 1/2 ships that "work" for RP and mission PvE, but taking a Connie Refit that "matches" TOS unis into an STF is grounds to be (minimally) laughed out of the game, if not reported for "griefing".

As one of the "minority" of fans that are here because of appreciating the "older" timeline stuff, the lack of a TOS and ENT era tier 5 is a "problem", even though I understand that TNG fans may not care about that. Personally, I don't even care for the ENT shows, but if I'm gonna request TOS "love", I might as well get ENT (as the "last base") covered.

Oh, and "for the record", the VSS is "technically" a Tier 4, shipyard filters place it as a RA ship, and the only VA Sci I've seen in my previous sorts is the Intrepid-Retro. That, and to be "truly" a 100% "canon" ship/uniform match, the T'Pol uniform (and all Vulcan crew for that matter) would be the "most appropriate" entry.

So maybe at least an event for older ships only? You know - Miranda, Constitution, D7/K'tinga, Bird of Prey...

Nope, it's T5. All RA and VA level ships are T5 ships and are roughly comparable. T4 ships are Captain level ships that have less hull HP, shield HP, weapons hard points and console slots (although the CStore ships all have an extra console slot).

My bad, mixing up the VA-only "+1s" with the "standard" tier 5...

Wasn't the Vulcan ship in First Contact? Meaning it was there when Humanity invented warp drive. If that's not proof it's been around forever I don't know what is.

No the D'Kyr wasn't the ship that was seen on First Contact.

Although it wouldn't be far off that time period. Still a 22nd century ship.

Ahhh. I see the problem now. The problem is that you think a 300 yearold ship design should be as good as a modern one. What you need to understand is that this is an unreasonable thing to want, because it destroys believability. A NX style ship that's as tough as Bortasqu battleships in pvp and borg cubes in STFs is a stupid thing to put into the game. You should give up your desires to have stupid things in game that would exist purely to satisfy you, which would otherwise ruin the game.

As you should be.

then why do you choose the image of a Klingon who died 34 years ago to represent you here?

Surely we should all be wearing (only) 2409 uniforms and flying (only) new Cryptic designed ships, with a few rickety old Sovereigns, Akiras and Negh'vars operating in the rear areas.

Because that is in no way similar to the thing the op wants?

Surely an aircraft carrier built in the 1970s should've been retired long ago with all the wooden warships of the Napoleonic era, right? That's the kind of time difference we're dealing with here.

No, I'd say your attempt is more like "finger in nose".
