# 1 where to borg my ship
05-22-2012, 08:47 AM
I am new to STOL, I played the game till I got to level 50 and now I have done all the mission in the game. I have seen a lot of ships with borg modification skins. I only got the one in the last set of mission. I found the task force but this does not look like the right area.

So my question is now do I get the borg modifications?

Roxy at DS9 has them. 9 oclock if you look at the ring as a clock.

You'll have to do the stfs to obtain the Encrpted Data chips that you'll need.

Not a problem. Glad to help

One word of advice. Appears many folks prefer the Aegis shield when used with the rest of the Borg set. Appears to work better.

edit: Replaced like with prefer.

Yea, the borg shield is a pile of crap. Using the other 3 pieces with a much better shield is preferable. Don't waste the EDCs on it.

I find the Jem'Hadar shields to be more powerful, defensive-wise.

The Borg shields are what give a ship all the green splotches on the hull itself, just in case that's what you mean by 'skin'.

Specs wise, though, the suggested Aegis or Jem'Hadar shields would be better to start and moving to MACO by a rare drop or saving up 40 EDCs.
