But the news reel afterwards seemed more like an opinion viewing, when the reporter said "what!?" to an interview given by barack obama.
I mean, show me one serious reporter, that comments a statement made by a politician with "what?!" in a news broadcast.
Even if she was right, that the statement was crap, she should leave her own views out of it, and mybe just point out that it was not an accurate statement, which she did anyway afterwards.
He's right though - despite changes here and there (some small, some massive) Trek, like any good sci-fi, is best when it at least tries to have some form of continuity.

Oh please. Their commentary slants right of center, where as pretty much everyone else in media has commentary which is either neutral or slants left of center.
