Thankyou for taking the time to fix all these. Now my ship looks really good again and I get the boost in performance from DX11.

On a side note, now that all these fixes are in does that mean that there will be a focus on new DX11 features in the near future?

I'm sure we missed something, so please keep posting if you see any more after the launch of Season 6.

This was not holding up any DX11 features. DX11 features come from the graphics programming team upstairs. All of these bugs were fixed by us lowly artists manually reprocessing models.

So my Nebula will only be fred from those black textures after the launch of Season 6? *meh*

But yeah, sadly, it's true... you'd need to scan it with a massive comb ("Comb the desert!" ) simultaneously to get anywhere in any amount of time.

Edit: By the way, Zek, are you starting to neglect that thread of yours now that Brandon's been taking care of it in your absence? :p It's been a few days since you got back and not a peep out of you :O

The Nebula has some of those issues, but I am glad you guys know what the issues are. DX9 hides the issue, DX11 reveals the triangles. It also messes with the transwarp gates.

I made a gallery with DX9 vs DX11 shots of the Nebula -- it's dark but you can see the triangles.

I would highly recommend going to the TRIBBLE test shard to see if most of these issues are already fixed (and we'll see those TRIBBLE fixes whenever Season 6 drops). I haven't tested all ships yet, but a large number of them seem to have at least some of their issues taken care of. (I know the Advanced Escort's DX11 black triangles have been fixed on all variants. Most of the other ships I've seen, while not all of their black triangles have been fixed, at least progress has been made)

I have probably a solution for AMD graphic card users that have black textures even when they turned dx11 off. There ist an option in Catalyst 12.3 called "Surface Format Optimation" (Catalyst A.I.) If you disable this, the black spots disapear in dx9 mode and you don't have the feeling that your crew is painting the walls black during your absence anymore.

I am getting this issue once again. Notices it a couple of days ago on the NX ship and in the middle of the one of the klingon Carrier, Not the kar'fi the other one.
