Don't count on it anymore or at least for the time being. The doff market is crashing as people frantically try to rid themselves of doffs to make room to open more gamma packs.

9 seconds CD reduced in APB per doff, 9x3 = 27 seconds, apb shared coldown = 30seconds, so with 3 doff u can chain 2xAPB and bind them to space bar lol, VERY op, APO is one of the best skills in the game, u should not be able of chain them like that, 70 defense at full impulse + bonus from elusive trait + defense bonus from APO and u are inmortal

dont need to sell them, i have like 50 doff stored in my mail lol

I checked yesterday and attack patern doffs are very expensive now, over 200m :S

Well... I don't think rarity justifies overpowered abilities. Just strong abilities that are still overall balanced. That is not to say that this DOFF is problematic. But if MT is willing to get rid of 2 D'Kora's for it, it may be. :p

Getting 3 of these Doffs was one of my 'end game' goals for a while, and I'm pretty happy with the result. I had to wait for two sellers to get into a price war to get down to the 'going' rate though. It was that or 3 sub-nuc DOFFs, but I decided to go with the more certain effect.

As has been mentioned, they allow you to run APB3 virtually back-to-back (which is stonking great for PVE). Less good for PVP, given the ubiquity of tac team, but then you switch to running APO (sadly the 30s global cooldown prevents APO being chained, even if you ran 2 copies and 3 DOFFS)

I haven't felt like superman using them though, so I'm coming down on the side of "worth working towards" rather than "overpowered and unfair loot."

Science and Engineering ships can use the TT doff to free up a valuable tac power slot whilst maintaining a TT cycle - that's a huge boost, but escorts have low level tac slots to spare (more than spare, as the other ensign abilities aren't very helpful with cannons.) I'm running two copies of EPTS, but I can't reduce that to 1 using doffs to free up a crucial engineering slot.

But I can free up a useful tac slot with this Doff.
