It is nice to get to know a little more about you, Steve! Combat is one aspect of the game that I am very interested in finding out more about, so it was nice to see it at least touched upon in this article. I can't wait to experience all of the hard work you've done on the game!
i like reading getting to know threads on personal working on this game but i wish they had asked some better questions, like what part of programing this game ha giving him the most difficulty. or what do you like best that youve put in the game so far? i dont know. its a start i guess that he likes pirates like me. ill have to live with what im given to read.
Always good to know more about the team. Keep up the good work, hope the combat systems is something new and exciting. A refresher is always needed when assaulting a problem, just walk away for a bit and then come back with a fresh perspective.
hello there dont blast too much asteroids leave some for the players too :p
I kinda know that game from that old 16 color thingy we had in the 80`ies. Must have been something with C and 64 ...
Nah, asteroids was built in 1980 I think, might have been earlier. It was one of a few early games with vector drawn graphics I believe. It had no colours just white (or green even blueish white on some rip offs) on black. It was an arcade game in a stand - up cabinet, contemporaneous with Space Invaders.
