personally i have tested all but the shuttle craft itself that i chose not to buy advanced. Ranking for damage/effectiveness for me was as followed.

1 Peragine - top dps, love survival, and fast recast. 12 quantum torps tends to finish off any target quickly

2 this is a toss up
Stalker fighters- nice dps, low survival, simi fast recast. Can shut down subsystems which helps at time for donatra. and can strip shield power.

Delta flyer- med dps, med survival, med recast. Can turn off shields works nice for dps since can take a hit- i use this if too many peragines are flying arround.

3. runabout- low dps, high survival, high recast. With a smaller wing size you get low dps. only 1 tractor beam fires at a time and never enough to matter to me for CC. Just GW and destroy with something else is my way.

4.shuttle craft/ shield repair drones. Depending on situation these are nice. Shuttle craft for crystaline entity. Shield repair for pvp/ if you dont know how to use GW/intercept mode for torps on tanking.

This is my experience and testing. Now i only carry adv peragine and adv delta flyers right now on most of my atrox.

CSE stands for 'Cure Space Elite'. Its one of the Borg focused STFs (Special Task Force).

Yes, but keep in mind a ship like the Armitage is unlikely to have space for a tractor beam, and can not have Gravity Well at all.

It allows an already solid DPS ship to add an element of control, which as I recommended is very useful on CSE to hold trouble mobs like Negh'var and Raptors.

The amritage has a tractor beam thanks to me getting the 4 borg retro set pieces.

Delta Flyers should get a nice buff when transphasics get their 40% shield-penetration.

That's one tractor beam, that you only get to use ever 4 minutes.

It also requires you to use the Borg shield, as opposed to the MACO / OMEGA / KHG Shields, which are generally considered superior.

Yes, I'm looking forward to retesting them.

Is that still coming, saw it in test a while back but no news about it since.

It won't go live until Season 6 hits Holodeck.

If I am in my Atrox, I run with two Gravity Wells, and a Tractor Beam (two if you count the Borg set bonus), so, at least for STFs and other PvE content, the Danubes are less useful than additional DPS, shield stripping, or what have you. Occasionally, I might run a mix of a Danube and another hanger, but two hangers of Danubes with that would just be a waste. PvP might be a different matter, but I don't PvP to speak of.

On my Armitage on the other hand, I cannot use Gravity Well because it requires a minimum of a Lt. Cmdr slot for GW I. Likewise, I am not sure it is wise to spend one of my only two Science slots on Tractor Beam given the squishiness of an Escort class, and as someone else mentioned, the Borg set bonus Tractor beam has a long cooldown making it only situationally useful. Since the DPS is not as much of an issue for the Armitage as it is the Atrox, swapping a DPS hanger for the Danubes when CC is needed is the far better choice. A couple of wings of Danubes will cast Tractor Beam far more often and far more reliably that I can (i.e., they won't get distracted trying to DPS or heal and not notice TB is off cooldown).

Keeping probes from getting to the gate in the Armitage with a hanger of Danubes is easy.

I had no idea the MACRO and OMEGA shields where better. Would else would you replace in the Borg set that I have?

Only the shield. I'd suggest to keep the rest for the Borg healing procs.

As to the OP's question: I prefer Advanced Stalkers. They knock out enemy aux systems, potentially cost the enemy Aux power (blocking the sci heals of some escorts quite nicely) and do decent anti-shield dps.
