So what's the point of doing the Tholian stuff now "outside the timed event"-time slot? No rewards 23 hours a day, Fleet Marks 1 hour a day. In other words, 23 hours a day, the invasion is pointless.

Sure the place is accessable all the time (unlike the Deferi Invasion), but there's no point BEING THERE unless it's part of the timeslot event.

You can still get the beter EV suits and weapons; as well as the items of for the Tholian Ground set I'd imagine.

Thats a damn shame, I've yet to run the mirror universe event, I've ran the vault once and the Defari event twice since they came out, they simply are rarely available when I'm playing. Although I'm happy the Tholian event in not time gated, the fact that earning the fleet marks is, is very irritating. Surely a better approach would be for the event to always give fleet marks, but during the event hours it could maybe give a bonus ammount, that way it is still worth running out of event hours and even more appealing to run during event hours? I honestly can't see myself running the event if it's not awarding fleet marks, I've played it this weekend and already have 2 parts of the Tholian set and can't really see myself running it for that alone.

Fleet marks are the only reason to play that map. I dont want tons of cheap useless EV suits. they are worthless. We know fleet marks are going to be grinders and now with the easiest and fastest way to earn them time gated it kills this map. The missions are already boring and pointless the map gives me headaches and makes me feel sick and I only play it for the fleet marks. way to ruin the only good thing about this map.

If you want us to run the map on "non timeslot" times, allow us to trade the "worthless" EV suits back to some vendor, for either Fleet Marks (not likely), or a small amount of Dilithium (75-480 dilithium per suit). Most of the EV suits ARE worthless, unless it's part of the new ground-set.

Pretty sure you pulled that 23 hours a day number out of thin air. They expanded the timeslots for Defera over 3 months ago. If you see fleet marks as the only benefit to playing the Tholian invasion, then clearly it's not the right way for you to spend your time.

Those were talked about on a recent interview podcast that described how the "bodysock" model for Fed characters is different than KDF models. It won't just happen, and they would rather put dev time towards new earnable/sellable KDF costumes entirely, than a visual effect like kits which can just be turned off.

Not what I wanted to hear either, but that's how this particular cookie is crumbling.

The Tholian Invasion map had some fun missions (thou the 5-man interior event felt a bit too hard). But if i'm not getting any USEFUL rewards for doing the missions, then I won't be visiting very often. My suggestion above, was to give us something useful, without it necessarily being Fleet Marks. If you just yank the rewards away without coming up with a replacement, people WILL lose incentive to do the missions on the map. I'm happy for you, that you are so accomodating to re-arrange your schedule based around Cryptic's time-gated events. Most people can't.

And yes, the "23 hours a day" was an assumption, based on most time-gated events being part of a 1-hour time slot on the calendar. I am well aware that the Deferi Invasion lasts longer, but it wasn't always like that. It DID start out being only an hour a day.

So basically what you're saying is that we only earn fleet marks during the gated event times? Other than that we don't receive any Fleet Marks if we take part in the mission? If so, This is bad... Very Bad!

Yes, I am going to grind for stuff that only can be use on a mission that I cant grind because I don?t have 24 hs a day to play a GAME.

But why this does not surprise me? Is Cryptic, from the same guys ?we are going to fix PVP and release In To the Hive soon?

Thank you for confirming that we've been lied to yet again. I seem to recall a post saying that Cryptic is trying to learn from their mistakes. Did you need links to all those threads of your customers complaining about how this was a bad idea during the Vault event and how they couldn't access the mission.

Your company has some serious ethics issues. If you were my employee, you would have been fired on the spot for that post.
