pro - more players and ease of accessibility.

con- i believe they said something about having limited updates they can push a month to a console, so the console version might actually slow down what we PC uses can have added to keep the versions the same.

con - massive amount of work taking away from our live updates to convert it.

con- MMO's and consoles dont mix well unless they are built with the console in mind. not sure how much fun it will be with a gamepad, especially things like chat.

key board options and the like are available to consoles. However I do agree that MMOs in practice on consoles could be cumbersome

Actually they tried again!
With DCUO.

Yup, that worked out reeeeaaaal well for SOE.

Actually, didn't Cryptic attempt this with CO? I seem to remember them throwing in the towel on that idea just before it was released.

con's - mmo's don't need to be dumbed down anymore than they already are to work on any console

Console gamers are far more aggressive than MMO players. Having both an XBox 360 and a PS3 I have to say, from experience, that PS3 gamers are more aggressive than 360 players.

Do we really need an influx of aggression?

My answer - Nope.
