Alright Well I just got Star Trek Online today. Downloaded yesterday from steam. And today I had a problem with some thing. Once I got the patch done and all, I did the brightness thing and then after a while my screen messed up. I think once I got on to the Menu it was like that.
In order to get into the game where you can maybe actually see, click on OPTIONS at the top of the launcher window. Click on SAFE MODE. I think that returns the vid settings to something easily supported.
Once you are in the game and can read screens, go to the in-game options (escape), and look at the graphics settings and see if half-resolution is enabled. If so, turn it off.
