Slow patching in the launcher
A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
When I launch STO, the launcher activates and I am able to input my user info. Once that is finished, the patcher attempts to update the game. It cannot do so, and continually times out for as long as I allow it to try. On top of this, while the patcher is attempting to patch, and for almost a minute after I close the application, my internet connectivity disappears. I am unable to access anything, even google. It seems the launcher is playing havoc on my network. When I run nettest or tracert while the launcher is not open, they run just fine. I get good latency and no problems. When I run the patcher, they can't reach any servers. Any suggestions?
