People are more likely to take the effort to voice a complaint than a compliment when the method if delivery is more involved than face to face speech.
The more customers a product or service has, the harder it is to keep them all happy.
This post may have more people saying they're not happy compared to those that are, but that doesn't mean that the majority of people are unhappy.
circular logic at its finest. there is no vocal minority. end of story. claiming otherwise is nothing more than an offensive attempt at telling people to be quiet and to ignore everyone that isn't happy with the situation, which is alot of people.
i gotta say it seems to me out of every 10 updates i read about the upcoming season , it seems at least 7 of them make me unhappy with the way the game is going.
is it just me that feels most of the news is bad news?
does anyone else feel this way?
or is it just the opposite for you?
It's the opposite for me. I am overall pleased with the news and the direction of STO.
I miss the old LONG versions of STFs. I miss Starbase 24 Interior and the U.S.S. Daxter which used to be in Klingon Task Force. I miss the non-storyline patrols. If Featured Episodes are not going to be produced (as is rumored), I will miss the thrill of new Featured Episodes.
I also miss crafting high level stuff WITHOUT the need for dilithium, which killed any profit if I were to sell them on the Exchange.
you may be right, but with that said, we have a right to express our discontent with the direction of the game.
I think you'll find that I never said people can't express their discontent.
I think people need to remember that it's not all doom and gloom. I think the game is going in the right direction as I feel that starbases are more system than content. This will help the game grow in future seasons.
Yes, things need to be fixed, like the broken keybinds and the exchange, but I'm happy to play and I'm not the only one, otherwise space would be be pretty empty in game.
