I've not had a low level toon in a while, and I missed a good 9 months of STO last year, but I've been active since the beginning otherwise. So can someone give me a quick rundown of what happened to the patrol missions? You know, the ones where you are assigned to patrol a sector block, you visit 3 systems, get some XP for each one of those, and then turn in the whole sector block for more XP and some sort of item reward at the end.

I can't seem to find those with my toons who had never done them. Help?

They got removed due to complaints. You can still do the individual missions though. You now have to fly up to each system to get them to kick in.

The accolades and mission awards are gone though.

The give pretty good XP- 2500+ skill points, if I recall- for doing them though.
Not too shabby for a quick one-off to get a rank increase.

I dont recall us ever finding out.

They removed CSE from the event calander for pretty much the same reason but it;s still playable as well.
