I have a freighter on both my Fed and Klingon Tac captains and i use them to do many dailies. The ship can fight you just have to be ALOT more creative in your build, if i get a chance tonight i'll come back and try to post my two builds.

I guess someone was bound to try and do battle in them...

I've got an old Mk X MACO set on mine, mostly for the faster warp speed and the better looking skin, since I can't customize anything else onto it.

I've got a Thalaron fart machine and a spare point defense module in the console slots, just for giggles.

It was somehow bumped from the list when "Fleet Starbase System" transwarp was added.

Did anyone find out if the Sector Space Tycoon bonus from the two Ferengi consoles stacks with the Tuffli?

I have noticed you get a 20% discount if you buy from a sector space commodities freighter while flying the Tuffli. I'm wondering if the Tycoon bonus will actually stack ANOTHER 20% bonus on top of that.

I've done the "kill five groups of enemies" exploration missions in my Tuffli, on normal difficulty. It's not all that hard, just time consuming.

2x Tetryon turrets
1x Ferengi missile launcher

Standard-issue engine and deflector, Resilient [cap]x3 shield.

Ferengi console, point-defense console, transwarp computer.

Tac LT with Tactical Team, Cannon Scatter Volley; engineer with EPtS. Engineer captain.

Combat is an exercise in tanking and patience; use CSV to shoot down heavy torpedoes, use the PDS against groups of frigates. Two doffs to reduce TT's recharge so it can be maintained constantly.
