Whats the reason for the addition of these random beams of light? They seem to be more creepy and ominous than any attention grabbing. This seems really foreign and weird looking, I'm not sure if I'm the only person who thinks this.
I haven't done the explore mission where you have to scan the kirk "people eating gas cloud" but I bet it would look much creepier with random beams of light/candle flames.
note: Not sure if this should be placed under art of STO or another subforum, feel free to move it mods

So, I logged in today and noticed that there's a new interact effect on things such as banks, exchanges, consoles etc....
Anyone else thinking it's ugly? What happened to the nice subtle one that we had when the game launched? And the slightly less subtle one we only just had....
