I've always looked at avatars as it's not what everyone else likes, it's what you like as an avatar. That's why I've used a bus as mine for the past few years.

Me personally, I like it.

Not to mention the bus is unassuming and practical.

I mean, its a Star Trek forum. Everyone generally plays this to express their inner Kirk. What sort of avatar choice is expected?

But a bus... who could have thought of that and get people to regularly comment on it in the avatar association thread lol

It shouldn't matter if others like your avatar or not. As long as you like it, that's what counts. Like my favorite person in the whole wide world said,
