Welcome to the community, Josh! It's great to meet you -- and I have to say that you definitely have one of the best jobs when it comes to working with a property like Star Trek. Plus you have great taste in characters. I'm excited to see all of the hard work you have put into the game!

What they used to say on DS9 about Morn, is that he was quite the talker. Had he got in the last words, it would have required an extra episode to finish what he had to say

It`s very calming to know, that someone who worked@BOF is working for STO. Let me pay you tribute for BOF, it is still, after these many years, the best star trek game ever. We play it here once a week and it still makes fun. If you still have connections to your old colleges please thank them for us, too.

Welcome to the zoo, Josh! A few comments on your profile:

* I always wondered what particular sort of madman drove in demolition derbies -- now I know! (note to self: _never_ cut Josh off in traffic).

* Best answer I've seen yet to the immortal "robots, monkeys, pirates, ninjas" question!

* If you played Elite so much you wore out the disc, then you're absolutely the right person to be creating exploration content for STO!

I look forward to enjoying your work,

Cheers,

KOS

The designer in me balks at this question! The answer should be "whichever one the player wants to be." And there should be an odd number of choices, so we can adopt a much more interesting RPS style advantage/disadvantage balancing approach.
The player in my loves this answer! Hopefully this idea is fully developed in STO game play. I'm excited

I still play Birth of the Federation now and again... it was very good in some areas, and lacking in others... wish the diplomacy and research were as in depth as its inspiration: civilization.
