Looking for some advice on a decent HEC fit and I'll list my current setup below (just to note, I'm an engineer class) which I use for STF's:
4x Disruptor Dual Cannons Mk XII (Borg)
3x Disruptor Turret Mk XII (Borg)
Omega Mk XII Shield
Jem'Hadar Impulse Engines (still waiting on prototype engine tech from CSE)
Omega Mk XII Deflector
RCS Accelerator / Point Defence System / Electroceramic Hull Plating
Shield Emitter Amplifier / Assimilated Module
4x Disruptor Induction Coil
Advanced Peregrine Fighters
Bridge Officer Skills:
Tactical 1: Tactical Team I, Tactical Team II, Cannon Rapid Fire II, Attack Pattern Omega II
Tactical 2: Tactical Team I, Cannon Rapid Fire I
Tactical 3: Tactical Team I
Engineering: Emergency to Auxiliary, Auxiliary to Structural, Engineering Team III
Science: Hazard Emitters, Tractor Repulsors
That's what I use right now and seems alright but looking for advice. My main concern is that my third tactical officer is just not needed and find the PDS very situational.
I used to have Mk XI Anti-Proton DHC's/turrets on it with a Quantum Launcher but figured Disruptor would be more useful overall with its bonus effect rather than relying on just crits on the AP which a tactical player would make more use of.
Also thinking of replacing science boff tractor repulsors with reverse shield polarity for more tanking, but find it useful to push stuff away on some STF's when others don't seem to have anything.
Not only that, my ship can't seem to handle the Borg Neg'vars and Raptors in Cure Space Elite if they start attacking me. If I'm not one-shot by an invisible Neg'var weapon/torpedo I usually Evasive Maneuvers and Brace for Impact and get out of range.
