Excellent idea. As I only have one D'Kora and one Recluse, for instance, this would also give me the ability to occasionally "trade" that ship from one character to another--for a price. If the price isn't too high I might even consider doing it on a regular basis...but if it's grossly overpriced like most new Star Trek Online content (other than the Regent) has been lately (Fleet Ship Module, special EV suit, etc.) then it's only going to be used as an emergency measure.
