I imagine what it's like to be on Earth at night looking up, seeing hundreds of warp flashes all night long... then I think about how annoying that would be whilst camping. Or how much it would suck to just happen to be looking through a telescope in that exact spot.
I also wonder if anyone has ever gotten reprimanded for hot-boxing a shuttlecraft.
Yesterday, I was flying a Tuffli Freighter and doing doff missions when I got one that said "investigate entertainment opportunities with shape-shifting lockets" or something like that.
My immediate thought was "I'm going to use a living creature as part of an entertainment device. I'm a pirate."
Later, this idea evolved a little. I'm not a pirate; I'm one of those civilian defense contractors that gets sent in behind the military, cleaning up rebel outposts and setting up infrastructure. I'm not sure how I feel about that morally, but it's a fun game nonetheless.
I wonder, does my captain, being bored flying through space with nothing to do, suddenly yell out 'CHANGE PLACES' to which everyone suddenly scrambles around until the entire bridge crew is at a different station or chair?
Also, I in turn wonder how the normal NPC enemies feel, when my fleet Star Cruiser, with running Ablative Jevonite Hardpoints, has more hull then they do, especially like a Borg cube!
