There is a gameplay issue with the new Extend Shields VFX. The issue is, your target doesn?t know who it is that is extending their shields on them. The new VFX simply is not intuitive for the caster or the receiver of the ability. This is especially true when a lot is going on during a battle!
Personally, I think the ability itself needs to be looked at and changed to a small AOE shield buff. That way, the VFX can be a larger shield bubble surrounding the area in which the shields are extended on friendly targets. It also means that players can use Tractor Beam repulsers to push enemy targets out of the AOE shield BUFF effective range. It would also mean that Extend Shields cannot be stacked.
