When I try to adjust the Y-axis of a ship/prop in a space map, it seems to round in a weird way (for example, when I enter "0.1", it changes to "0.119969"). And the change doesn't seem to properly affect the prop when I load the map.

What's going on?

I've been experiencing this as well. It's like there's a vertical "snap to grid" option that we can't turn off. I dislike it.

They made snap to grid the new default, so the first thing to do when loading up the foundry is turn it off. It's an icon right above the preview window in the map tab. That should stop rounding the values.

Its been happening to me regardless of how I have my snap to grid buttons. I usually have them off.

Weird. I don't really mess much with building in space, so I didn't notice it. Is it making aligning objects impossible?

Well when I've seen it, it is usually just .0000001 or some such off, so its barely noticeable, but its one of those things where you see it and you think "What could possibly be the point of that?"

OK, I'm seeing this on my ground map y values now. I had fires all put at 1 and now they've auto changed to .99

Not a big deal for me on this map, but if one of my maps reverted to all snap to grid values, it would be ruined beyond repair.

I turned off "snap to grid" and the values aren't rounding anymore. However, the ships/props still aren't placed correctly.
